LinkedIn is a powerful tool for networking and professional development. However, having numbers in your profile name can take away from your personal branding. Luckily, LinkedIn lets users customize their profile URLs. This gives you the chance to make a cleaner, more professional link. Follow these steps to eliminate numbers from your LinkedIn profile name:
Step 1: Log in to LinkedIn
Open your web browser and navigate to the LinkedIn website. Log in to your account using your credentials.
Step 2: Access Your Profile Settings
Once logged in, click on your profile picture or the "Me" icon at the top right corner of the LinkedIn homepage. From the dropdown menu, select "View profile" to access your profile page.

Step 3: Click on "Edit Public Profile & URL"
Locate the "Edit public profile & URL" button, usually situated next to your profile picture. Click on it to proceed

Step 4: Edit Your Public Profile URL
This section will display your current LinkedIn URL. Look for the "Edit your custom URL" option and click on it

Step 6: Save Changes
After entering your desired URL, click on the "Save" or "Save changes" button to apply the new URL to your profile.
Step 7: Confirm the Change
Review the new URL to ensure it's free of numbers and accurately reflects your desired profile name. Once you're satisfied, confirm the change. LinkedIn will update your profile URL accordingly.
Step 8: Update Any External Links
If you've shared your LinkedIn profile URL on other platforms or websites, remember to update those links with your new custom URL to ensure consistency.
